Our manatee sightseeing and wildlife boat tour is perfect for all ages and features calm, smooth waters. This 1.5-hour experience offers unforgettable up-close encounters as manatees often swim right alongside the boat. For your comfort and safety, our boats are fully covered.
Your knowledgeable captain will lead the search for these gentle sea cows by spotting their distinctive “footprints” — the swirling patterns left behind when they dive, signaling they’re nearby. Listen as manatees surface and breathe, sometimes coming close enough to greet the boat.
The tour travels through the Faka Union Canal in the Port of the Islands Harbor and along the mangrove-lined edges of the Everglades. Along the way, your group will learn about the vital role mangroves play in Florida’s ecosystem. In addition to manatees, sightings often include alligators, fish, bull sharks, and a variety of protected Everglades birds, all highlighted and explained by your captain.
